VJ Junior the incredible has today posted on his social media page showing support to Ashburg Kato. This followed after blogger Ashburg Kato went to Gen Muhoozi and Balaam to lobby for relief food for other bloggers. In addition, in the same industry, however, Ashburg was attacked and bashed by People Power supporters. Therefore, VJ junior has come out to render support to the blogger through his social media walls… Below is what Junior wrote on his page.
“I have read a lot of negative comments from some of the followers of the People Power movement clobbering and clouting blogger Ashburg Kato with all sorts of insults, abuses, jibes and snubs for lobbying food relief from “NRM” to give to his fellows plus some even questioning his loyalty to Honourable Kyagulanyi which I ironically found so patsy and unjaded.
For the time I have known this young man, there is no one in this world whom he proclivly loves than Bobi Wine not mentioning his family thus a need for his extenuation.
In the old China If you may allow me to refer, the Chinese used to use two brush strokes to write the word ‘crisis.’ One brush stroke stood for danger; the other for opportunity. They continued to say that in a crisis, be aware of the danger–but recognize the opportunity.
The moral of that story is that Ashburg ceased an opportunity in this Covid 19 crisis and used it to help fellow bloggers who were probably already desparate, anguished and distraughted with starvation.
In such a global crisis where most people are fighting for what to eat so as they survive, they are getting and accepting any relief from whenever and wherever, the President of Uganda inclusive, we the people in our local communities too and denying such an opportunity when it comes knocking can be seen as an act of gullibility and folly.
We need all of us a people to kindly stop escalading hatred, abhorrence,
inrepugnance, aversion and hostility towards each other and allow humanity to prevail, we should leave all the above in obiter dictum; at least for now till this Covid 19 crisis is done🙏🏿🙏🏿.
This young man Ashburg has paid so many courtesy visits at my office and we always discuss nothing but politics and learnt how he is highly so desperate for his boss to take the sovereignty of this Country one day consequently finding him very
briliant, blazing and a scintillating people power die hard.
All those who were angered by his maneuvering in getting food relief for his deplorable comrades, of which many subscribe to different political realms, you have all your rights to do so but ask yourself what you would have done if you were in his shoes, imagine its your relatives who need help and the only one willing to help is your “enemy” who at his paused all the differences you had with them but to save your own??
I conclude by kindly asking all of us from all the political disciplines we append to to also learn how to develop a sense of political tolerance towards one another, a willingness to grant political rights to any of our disliked group.
A Russian Political philosopher and Historian, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn once said; “It’s a universal law– intolerance is the first sign of an inadequate education. An ill-educated person behaves with arrogant impatience, whereas truly profound education breeds humility”, VJ Junior wrote.
