This unfortunate escape of the two patients from Gulu regional referral hospital comes less than 24 hours after Uganda announced the first death of a COVID19 patient.
And regrettably, a hole that appeared on the hospital wire perimeter fence about two weeks ago has not yet been sealed.
The perimeter fence is located right next to the busy Gulu avenue street which puts road users, communities living around at the risk of exposure to the COVID19 patients who access this area.
