According to Kagimu, the tax collectors had a chance to improve their position if the remaining games were to take place.

“We wanted to improve on our league position during the campaign since we had finished third in the previous season,” Kagimu said before adding.

“We had an opportunity to achieve our target in the remaining five games but the pandemic hit us all unexpectedly.”

“Its unfortunate, we failed to attain our target but then this all goes back to Allah’s decision because he is always the master planner in everything,” he added.

However, Kagimu applauded the federation for taking bold decision by cancelling out the season.

Fufa crowned the Venoms this season’s champions basing on the 75% policy.

“Everything in the world has got guidelines or rules that govern and run it.”

“The pandemic has hindered every sector, just like in my Islamic religion, Muslims can’t access mosques for prayer due to this terrible situation.”

“I believe this was the best decision from the people running games in the country to end the season.”

“Meanwhile, Vipers deserved to win it all. This is because they had accumulated more points than all of us and so I congratulate them for the achievement,” he noted.

Proline uncontented

Proline FC was not satisfied by Fufa’s decision claiming the federation had intentions of relegating them to Fufa Big League.

According to Proline’s proprietor Mujib Kasule, Fufa is against his club due to his intentions of taking over Fufa presidency.
