Sam Ssimbwa impressed with URA’s performance against KCCA FC

URA FC head coach Sam Ssimbwa was left impressed by his side’s performance during their win against KCCA FC at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

The Sam Ssimbwa coached side outclassed the garbage collectors to register just their second consecutive away league game and the third consecutive win.

KCCA FC’s Brian Aheebwa scored in the 27th minute before two quick-fire goals in the 32nd and 36th minute from Benjamin Nyakoojo and team skipper Shafik Kagimu respectively.

According to Sam Ssimbwa, this was the climax of his boys’ impressive work since the start of the 2020/2021 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

“The result was simply a climax to the impressive work the boys have been doing since the start of the season,” Sam Ssimbwa said before adding.

“We had to wait for our first win against SC Villa at home and we have never looked back since. The boys will surely enjoy this,” he added.

This win marked a record ninth win against the opponents in the last 21 meetings in the league.

URA FC moved to 11 points from five league games, their next game will be against Wakiso Giants next year on 20th February.
