Police arrest four people for sabotaging gov’t programmes

Police in greater Masaka have arrested four men for sabotaging the Rural Electrification, a government program.
Its believed that the four were arrested from malongo sub county in Lwengo district, after cutting wires from newly installed electricity transmission lines under the Rural electrification program.
According to police, the suspects include Byansi Vincent, Kayondo David, Natukunda Benon and Kamugisha Edison all from Lyantonde.
The suspects were travelling in MV reg no UAZ 161Q a Toyota wish.
They are currently in custody at Lwengo CPS pending court.
