JINJA DISTRICT – Ms. Namulondo Evaline a market vendor who was shot by Security operatives in Jinja has passed on. On Wednesday, Namulondo, a food vendor in Jinja, was traveling on a bodaboda to work when she was shot in the stomach during morning hours and has passed on at Jinja regional referral hospital where she was admitted in a critical condition!

Family members cried out to the government of Uganda to intervene and provide help towards her treatment. However, the doctors at Jinja referral hospital have done their best to ensure that Namulondo Evaline’s life is rescued. In addition, since she had lost a lot of blood, after her getting shot didn’t leave her alive.

We as Cyclone Times Uganda condemn such ugly acts by some security operatives for not respecting innocent souls. May the soul of Namulondo Evealine rest in eternal peace.
