Mustafa Kizza on verge of joining Montreal Impact

KCCA FC left-back Mustafa Kizza may join Major League Soccer Montreal Impact any time soon according to reports.

This website has learned that KCCA FC and the Thierry Henry coached side have agreed to terms of transfer of the winger-cum-defender.

If all goes as per plans, he will join Kenya national team skipper Victor Wanyama who joined Montreal Impact in January.

Mustafa Kizza to become the second Ugandan to play for Montreal

The left-back will also become the second Ugandan to have featured for Montreal Impact.

The first Ugandan to play for Montreal Impact is Mike Azira who was at the club between 2018 and 2019.

Who is Mustafa Kizza?

Mustafa Kizza was born on October 3rd 1999 meaning that he is 20 years old.

He is a Ugandan footballer who plays for KCCA FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

On 24 February 2017, he was unveiled at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo, KCCA FC’s home ground.

He made his senior debut for KCCA FC against Bright Stars FC at StarTimes Stadium on March 3rd 2017.

Kizza scored his first goal for KCCA FC against Police FC on November 15th 2017 at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.

Mustafa Kizza’s national team journey

Mustafa Kizza played for Uganda U20 during the COSAFA U-20 Tournament which was held in Zambia in 2017. 

He made his debut on December 6th 2017 against Zambia U20 at Arthur Davis Stadium in Kitwe.

Kizza then made his Uganda U-23 debut on November 23rd 2018 against South Sudan U23 at Star Times Stadium Lugogo.

Uganda U23 went ahead to win the game 1–0 which was scored by Mustafa Kizza.

He made his senior national team debut on June 1st 2019 against Lesotho during the COSAFA 2019.

Since then, he has played seven goals and scored once in the process.
