Kenya National team and former Gor Mahia skipper Musa Mohammed may join the Tanzanian Premier League side Yanga Africans SC.
Rumors have linked Mohammed with a potential move to Yanga and the player have come out to confirm that his agent is currently engaged with the club.
“Yanga are still negotiating with my agent and so we can just wait and see how the talks will proceed. It is just my hope everything will turn positive,” Mohammed was quoted by Goal.
Who is Musa Mohammed?
Musa Mohammed Mayieko is a 28-year-old defender who currently plays for Zambian outfits Nkana Red Devils.
He featured for K’Ogalo from 2010 to 2017 where he won the Kenyan Premier League four times, as well as the Kenyan Super Cup before moving to Albania for a short stint with KF Tirana.

However, his contract was terminated in April 2018 after four months, after he failed to adapt to Europe.
However, the defender claims that he terminated the contract due to several issues, some personal, some monetary.
When he ended his contract with the European club, he returned home before moving to Zambia in 2018.
Mohammed’s contract with the Zambian Super League outfit is expected to end in June this year.
He made his international debut for Kenya in 2011 and since then, he played 34 games though he is yet to score.
He captained the national team to victory at the 2017 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.
If he join Tanzanian league record champions, he will be linking up with his international compatriot Farouk Shikalo.
Shikalo joined the club right after the African Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Egypt in 2019.
Yanga Africans are currently third on Tanzanian Premier League log with 51 points 20 points below table leaders Simba.
