MTN Uganda has today released an official update about its MOKASH service unavailability. This followed after many of its clients raised various complaints about the lack of the MOKASH service. Therefore, in a statement posted on MTN’s social media platforms, the service is currently unavailable due to a necessary system upgrade. In addition, this took place on the morning of Saturday, June 6th, 2020, thus subsequently impacting the service. However, it appealed to its clients to be patient as the responsible team is doing all it takes to restore the MOKASH service.
“MOKASH SERVICE UNAVAILABILITY
Monday, 8th June 2020: We wish to advise our customers that MoKash services are currently unavailable. This is due to a necessary upgrade that took place on the morning of Saturday, June 6th, 2020, that has subsequently impacted the service.
CBA has dedicated resources and is working with our partners MTN, to restore MOKASH service as soon as possible. We regret the inconvenience this has caused.
A further update will be shared as soon as the service is restored. Thank you for your patience.
