Tumushabe Beatrice alongside her sons Banturaki Beinomugish and Tumwesigye Lawrence are being held by police in Rukungiri district over the alleged murder of husband and father to the above 58-year-old Godfrey Mugisha.
Reports indicate that the above, residents of Kahimbi cell, Kikarara parish, Bwambara sub county in Rukungiri district have had multiple disputes as a couple which they believe may have resulted into the blood shed.
Past reports also show that on 18th April this year, the deceased burnt his wife’s clothes to ashes and chased her away from their matrimonio home on allegations of running multiple affairs.
Since the said date, Mugisha was not seen around until the 23rd of this month when an awful smell attracted the attention of his two sons, Banturaki and 37-year-old Kyokushaba Alex to his house only to be met with a dead and decaying Mugisha.

The two reported the incidence to the Kitara police and upon running a postmortem, it was discovered that Mugisha was strangled to death which was filled under reference number CR B765/2021.
The other three family members were immediately arrested as the prime suspects of the incident and the only people that would have intentions to kill Mugisha although evidence against them is yet to be established and investigations are still underway.
