KCCA FC head coach Mike Hillary Mutebi claims that John Revita’s absence due to injury is a huge blow to his side as they push for a second straight Uganda Premier League crown.
Revita picked up the injury against URA FC in January which initially ruled him out of the rest of the season as the club doctors recommended him to undergo surgery.
“He has not been at KCCA for a long time but he understands the game well,” Hillary Mutebi was quoted saying before adding.

“His absence might be a blow to the team but I have replacements to take over,” he added.
Among those who can replace Revita at KCCA FC includes Peter Magambo, Hassan Musana, Filbert Obenchan, Musa Ramathan, and Samuel Kato.
His injury had led to his exclusion from the Uganda Cranes team that was preparing for the Africa Nations Championship (Chan) before the training was called off.
Who is John Revita?
The intelligent defender joined KCCA from rivals Express FC at the start of the 2019/2020 season.
Revita came in as skipper Timothy Awany’s replacement who left the club to join Israel Premier League side Ashdod FC.
He has enjoyed a bright start to a new life at Lugogo and is one the players head coach Hillary Mutebi rates highly.
KCCA FC are currently second on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log with 50 points, four behind leaders Vipers SC.
