Mandela group has today joined the rest of the world in the struggle to kick COVID-19 out of Uganda. It has donated two brand new Toyota Hilux Pickups to the Government of Uganda to help ease transport during this pandemic.
One of the child companies founded by the Mandela group, Cityoil Uganda Limited appreciated the good work done by their parent company. Cityoil Uganda Limited wrote the following appreciation message on their Official Facebook page.
“We are pleased our parent company, Mandela Group, has boosted the national COVID-19 response efforts. In addition, with a donation of two brand new Toyota Hilux Pickups. These have been handed over to the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.

While receiving the donation, Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, applauded Mandela Group for the support. In addition, saying it has boosted their efforts towards the fight against COVID-19.
During the last national address by the President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, he called upon all big companies. In addition, to help and give in support to the government to be in the position to fight this pandemic. The president advised these big companies to donate brand new vehicles to help ease transport for the responsible COVID-19 support team. Therefore we want to thank Mandela group of companies for bringing their support towards this cause.
