Makerere student seeks for adoption of supplementary exams, petitions to senate

Makerere university guild presidential aspirant has petitioned the university senate over the issue of students missing on graduation.

Taliwaku Andrew Julian, contesting the second time for the same position noted in his petition letter that over 10000 student missout on graduation every year  over negligible issues of marks that he said are minor issues that can be addressed.

The petition is intended for adoption of supplementary exams to enable students that may have scored below the required mark (50%) to have the second chance.

Although the petition is filed in the period of elections, it is legally brought under articles 23,24 to 27 guidelines of operations of the credity systems under graduate programs for Makerere university.
