Kampala City Lord mayor hopeful Joseph Mayaja alias Jose Chameleone’s office launch has been interrupted by police. Joseph Mayanja is working down the sun to ignite his campaigns ahead of the 2021 general elections. However, police has dispersed his supporters who had already converged ready for the event with tear gas ad live bullets.

According to Jose Chameleone, he, however, questions Uganda police whether opening a campaign office is an offense. Therefore he vows not to stop regardless of the physical attack on him and many other colleagues for example the press at their premises.

“Our office launch has been interrupted. As I planned to also launch my task force that will in hand walk with me to the coming Lord Mayor elections. However, question is What is our crime? Is opening a campaign office an offense? Whatever is in their minds? We can’t be stopped regardless of the physical attack on me and many other colleagues including the press at our premises. This is Mission 2021 where all Ugandans are very vigilant and won’t be stopped. We shall communicate our next course of action,” Jose Chameleone posted.
