Lizel Muwaya blasts Police on kidnaps, murders

KAMPALA – Ms Lizel Muwaya yesterday blasted Police demanding for response to rampant kidnappings and killings in the country.

Muwaya, a social media and a self proclaimed activist in along dossier on her Facebook page faulted government and police for being silent on women murders and kidnaps but only to react on the death of an MP [Col. Ibrahim Abiriga].

She pointed to several kidnappings that have gone unsolved, with some ending up in gruesome murders of victims, even after relatives paid ransom money.

“We’ve been living in this insecurity for longer than you claim. It doesn’t get better and that’s why, clearly, none of us is safe. Let’s not pretend we just found out yesterday.
Our mothers, our sisters, our children are even at a greater but hey, we don’t want to speak up,” Muwaya said in a statement.

You have been silent about all the kidnaps and women murders going on in the country, even about the lady that was murdered last night because her family couldn’t raise the ransom. But oh how the death of an MP has made it clear for you that there’s so much insecurity in the country. Just wow!

What kind of human are you? Where have you been? Was his a life more equal than ours? Smh!
