Kyambogo University considers Face to Face lectures as it Announces reopening dates

Unlike other public universities that are pushing for online learning, Kyambogo University has considered face to face learning for all its learners.

According to be letter from Kyambogo University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Elly Katunguka to all staff and students, continuing students will have face-to-face lectures from 1st March 2021 for three weeks before sitting for their examinations.

“This is to inform you that Kyambogo university will open to continuing students on 1st March 2021. There will be there weeks of face to face lectures (1st- 21st March 2021) followed by examinations for three weeks (22nd March – 11th April 2021),” the letter from the University Vice-chancellor reads in part.

New students are expected to register online during the period when continuing students will be having their examinations and thereafter report to campus.

“First year students will self enroll online between 22nd March and 11th April 2021 and will officially report to the university on Saturday 10th April, 2021,” Prof Katunguka said in the letter.
