In today’s interview, Kasadah John alias John Blaq revealed he will feature gospel singer Levixone in his new song 2020. This comes at a time when there is a total lockdown in the country putting all business activities at a pause. However, in an exclusive interview with John Blaq, he revealed that his fans really have the zeal for his new music. Therefore he is working on his album and the song with Levixone.
“I want to assure my lovely fans fire after this lockdown because I miss performing for them. I will first release the song with Levixone before I unveil my new album. Therefore, I want to call upon all my fans around the world to stay home and keep safe because I have new stuff for them” Kasadha John said.
Mr. Kasadha John, what do you have to say about the Bivulu promoters who had booked you for Easter?
“Well, first and foremost, I want to thank all those who had given me business before the outbreak of COVID-19 in Uganda. I had quite so many music concerts in Uganda and across borders as well. However, none of these people has come out claiming I refund their monies. This is because they have understood the situation we are in very well and surely they want our people safe. It doesn’t make sense to stage concerts for our fans and end up losing them because of us. We are here today because of them, therefore we want them safe. Life is the most precious thing ever in this world. In addition, this is because without life, definitely, you cannot make money,” Kasadha John answered.

What is your take on President Yoweri Museveni’s directive to lockdown the Country?
“To be very honest with you, I am really so grateful for the decision our dear President took to ensure the safety of all Ugandans. This is because as it stands, our country doesn’t have many tested positive cases for COVID-19 unlike in other countries. Therefore that’s the most important thing I thank President Yoweri Museveni for. In addition, I also want to thank the Ministry of Health (MOH) for the measures they have put in place to help curb the widespread of the virus. I wanted to at least also contribute towards this cause by giving out my vehicle to help in the transportation of patients. However, since the president said he wanted to brand new vehicles, I didn’t manage to do so,” Kasadha John answered.
How are you and your family managing life during this Quarantine?
Well, we are keeping ourselves at home following the directive issued by the president of Uganda. We also ensure that we wash our hands regularly and also try hard not to touch the soft parts of the body. In addition, these include the eyes, nose, and mouth. At times we watch movies, do gym to keep ourselves physically fit and healthy, gather for a word of prayer and so on.
