Celebrated radio presenter James Onen alias Fatboy has broken silence as he has started his own online radio station. In addition, Onen makes a return in the radio industry after two months after losing his job at 88.2 Sanyu FM. Sanyu FM is one of the oldest radio stations in Uganda and Fatboy had spent 2 decades on this radio station.
Therefore since his fans have missed him for a long time now, he decided to start up his own online radio station dubbed reckless radio. In addition, to keep close to his fans. Fatboy believes Reckless radio will serve the needs of a growing class of media content consumers who are in need of high-quality radio content. In addition, he also believes it’s the time now to go digital after the outbreak of the coronavirus global pandemic. James Onen’s radio show “The Fat Boy” will however be airing from Monday to Friday from 6 to 10 a.m.

James alias Fatboy is a Ugandan radio presenter. He was born on 25 January 1995. Onen is a former employee of 88.2 Sanyu FM and used to host the Saturday morning “Alive and Kicking” radio show. Meanwhile, he was a co-presenter of the weekday radio program dubbed “Sanyu Breakfast”. In addition, James Onen is a popular, albeit controversial DJ in Uganda for unconventional views towards religion.
