The midfielder joined Vipers from Mbarara City as the Venoms are trying to strengthen their squad ahead of a new season.
“I am eyeing a professional career after Vipers,” Ibrahim Orit was quoted by the club’s official website.
“Vipers is a winning team and joining when they’re champions, brings another dimension.”
“Therefore, I won’t rest on my laurels as I have to continue with the team’s winning mentality,” he added.

The midfielder went on to say that he is happy to play for one of the best clubs the country, a club of his dreams.
“I am extremely happy to be here as it has always been my dream to play for Vipers. It’s a big club with talented players and a fantastic coach.”
In life of a footballer, you always want to play at the biggest stage, a year ago I wanted to come but it didn’t happen.”
“Now that I am here, I want to improve myself too on top of winning titles for the club,” he noted.
Fred Kajoba praised
Orit also expressed his appreciation to coach Fred Kajoba as a fatherly and respected figure during the few times he had previously worked with the gaffer at Uganda Cranes.
“He is a good coach who at times takes it to the level of acting as a father and I have already experienced it with him at the national team.”
“I expect a good working relationship with him here at Vipers.”
Vipers SC will represent Uganda in the next season’s Caf Champions League, that’s why they are strengthening their squad.
Their ultimate target is to reach the group stage of the competition on top of performing well in other competitions like the league and Stanbic Uganda Cup.
