Idrissa Gueye has handed in a transfer request at Everton in a bid to secure a move to Paris Saint-Germain, as per reports.
Gueye has written to club officials pleading with them to allow him to join the French champions.
It was revealed on Sunday that PSG had bid £21.5m for the midfielder. Everton insist Gueye is not for sale and they are expected to reject the offer.
However, with just four days left in the transfer window, it is understood PSG could come back to test Everton’s resolve with an increased offer to try to secure a move.
Gueye has played a leading role in Everton’s midfield since arriving two-and-a-half years ago for £7.6m from Aston Villa.
