Covid-19 Today’s Update – The ministry of health has today registered five coronavirus cases. This brings Uganda’s COVID-19 fatalities to 69.

Of the five COVID-19 cases were recorded, two were from Kapchorwa while the remaining were from Kampala, Mbale, and Gulu.

Meanwhile, results of COVID-19 tests done on 22 September 2020 confirmed 167 new coronavirus cases. This brings the country’s cumulative confirmed cases to 6,879

Coronavirus Update : Uganda Confirms 214 New COVID-19 Cases

COVID-19 Today’s Update – Death Toll Rises To 60

The confirmed cases include 155 contacts and alerts from Kampala with 62 cases, Kiryandongo (40), Soroti (7), Agago (5), Bundibugyo (5), Mbale (6), Gulu (4), Kole (4), Isingiro (3), Bududa (2), Jinja (2), Lamwo (4), Masindi (2) and Mukono (2). Buikwe, Kaberamaido, Koboko, Luwero, Nwoya, Wakiso, and Terego had one case each.

Additionally, 12 returnees including 11 from India and one from South Sudan tested positive for coronavirus.

To date, Uganda’s cumulative COVID-19 recoveries are 2,961 of the 6,879 confirmed cases.

In conclusion, we continue to urge the public to strictly follow the SOP’s issued by the Ministry of Health.
