Corona Virus Latest – The Ministry of Health (MOH) has today confirmed 12 new coronavirus cases in Uganda rising numbers to 329. In addition, 5 of the new cases are truck drivers who entered Uganda from South Sudan through Elegu border. 7 of the new cases are contacts to the previously confirmed cases and all these were under quarantine at the time of the test.

Meanwhile, MOH confirmed that 25 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their foreign countries… The good for Ugandans however is it has 72 COVID-19 recoveries in total without anyone dying from the deadly virus.

“Today, 29 May, 2020, 12 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The total confirmed cases are now 329. 5 new cases are truck drivers who arrived from South Sudan via Elegu. 7 cases are contacts to previously confirmed cases.
