Famous Kenyan Legendary actor Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula has been laid to rest today on the 20th of July 2020. In addition, the burial ceremony took place at his home in Nanderema in Busia County. Papa Shirandula died on the 18th of July 2020 after contracting the deadly coronavirus.

“Before the death of Charles Bukeko, he had a very busy three weeks that saw him working late into the night. In addition, and when he came home, he complained of feeling cold,” the late’s wife Beatrice Andega said.

According to some sources of information, Shirandula tested positive for the deadly coronavirus and also went into self-isolation. Meanwhile, his condition continued to worsen due to diabetes according to his family and close friends.

Papa Shirandula became very popular for his CITIZEN TV series where he was the main actor.

Fellow actors and comedians he worked with on his amazing Citizen Tv program attended his burial ceremony. In addition, the mourners observed the burial guidelines put in place by the Ministry of Health due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Charles alias Papa Shirandula is a comedian and actor from Kenya. He was born on the 10th of July 1962. Papa Shirandula went to Jogoo Road Primary School and then Joined Upper Hill Secondary. Charles was well known for portraying the titular character in the TV series Papa Shirandula. In addition, Bukeko won the 2010 Kalasha Award for the Best Actor in the TV series. However, on a sad note, Charles Bukeko died on the 18th of July 2020.
