Left-back Aggrey Madoi was signed from Wakiso Giants FC while Mugulusi was signed from Busoga United FC on two-year deals.
Aggrey Madoi ready to win for BUL FC
“I am happy to sign for BUL FC, I promise fans to expect the best from me. My main objective is to guide the club to silverware next season,” Madoi said after signing his contract on Saturday afternoon.
Aggrey Madoi previously played for Vipers but struggled for playing time at the Kitende-based club and decided to join Wakiso Giants at the beginning of last season on a three-year deal.
However, at Wakiso he also struggled for playing time and therefore decided to leave after just a year with the Purple Sharks.
Mugulusi eager to help BUL FC get to the next level
Meanwhile, after signing the contract, Ibrahim Mugulusi thanked the coach for the opportunity and therefore promised to help the club get to the next level.
“I thank the coach for the opportunity, I promise I will not disappoint him. I promise to help the club to the next level,” Mugulusi said.
Mugulusi and BUL FC head coach Arthur Kyesimira will be working together for the second time, they previously worked together at Edgars Youth Academy.
He also played at Kampala University and Sports Club Villa before he joined Busoga United.
Arthur Kyesimira applauses new signings
According to Arthur Kyesimira, the superiority of the newly signed players will help the club compete favorably next season.
“Of course I am thrilled with the new players brought-forth on board.”
“I feel they will beef-up the team to compete favorably and realize our goals for the coming seasons.”
“I thank the management for the effort put in for this to happen,” Arthur Kyesimira noted.
BUL FC finished sixth on the 16-team log from the 25 games played during the 2019/2020 season.
