A Sky Sports documentary looking back at Arsene Wenger’s 22-year Arsenal reign will air this Sunday.

The show will feature interviews with Ray Parlour, Thierry Henry and Ian Wright, stalwarts of the early Wenger era, as well as current midfielder Jack Wilshere.

It charts the course of the bespectacled Frenchman who arrived in north London in 1996 when much of the club’s fanbase wanted Johan Cruyff to take over, but soon won over the Gunners fans with his forward-thinking methods on and off the pitch.

Three Premier League titles followed, as well as seven FA Cups and a Champions League final, as well as the becoming the only side to go unbeaten in a league season since Preston in the 1880s.

And although the tide turned against the Gunners in more recent years, the memories remained as bright as ever – as the reaction to his departure after more than two decades has proven.

Get a behind-the-scenes insight to the man himself, often private in front of the media, from those who played under him and knew him best.

Adieu Arsene will air on Sky Sports Premier League from 6pm on Sunday.
