Arnold Ssembuya joins Police FC

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Police FC have completed the signing of midfielder Arnold Ssembuya.

The midfielder has been on the Abdallah Mubiru coached side’s radar for quite some time.

This is due to his good performances in the Fufa Big League with UPDF FC.

“Welcome to the cops’ family Arnold! Can’t wait to see you in action,” Police FC posted on their Facebook page.

Arnold Ssembuya happy with the transfer

After signing a three-year contract with the Cops, Arnold Sembuya showed his delight for joining them.

“I feel good joining Police FC because it’s one of the best teams in Uganda,” Ssembuya told the club media.

“I’m promising to work hard for the team to achieve the best,” he added.

Ssembuya joins other players at Police

Arnold Ssembuya joins Tom Ikara, Hassan Mahmood, Muwadda Mawejje, Eric Ssenjobe and Tonny Mawejje.

Others include Sammon Oloka and Frank Zaga Tumwesigye.

Recently, Emmanuel Kiryowa, Bashir Kabuye, Denis Rukundo, Yusuf Ssozi, Musa Matovu have opted to extend their stay with the club. 

Coach Abdallah Mubiru also opted to extend his stay at the club for a further three years after being promised quality signings.

The experienced tactician has been a free agent since January when his contract with the administrative side expired.

Initially, he was reluctant in committing his future to the club until some conditions were met however, an agreement has been finally reached.
