The Uganda National Examination Board – UNEB released the financial guidelines for the forthcoming 2020 PLE, UCE and UACE examinations.
The fees include registration fees for each PLE candidate amounting to Shs 34,000/= and late registration fee of Shs. 68,000/= still for each student.
For O’ level (UCE), UNEB set the registration fee for each candidate at Shs. 164,000/= and an additional fee for each private candidate totalling to Shs. 15,000/=.
For UACE, the registration fee for each candidate was set at Shs. 186,000/= and the additional fee for each private student at Shs. 18,000/=.
They also noted that the late registration fee per candidate for UCE and UACE is 50% and 100% of the total registration fee depending on the period of payment.
Throwing more light on payments, UNEB indicated that the payment gateway will continue to be used for the 2020 registration adding that no cash payment will be allowed within UNEB office.
