Fortebet Uganda has joined the rest of Uganda in offering the much-needed support to the COVID-19 task force. In addition, with a huge boost. Fortebet made its donation under the umbrella association of betting companies.

This donation was handed over to the government of Uganda and received by Minister Mary Carol Okurut. 23 tonnes of maize and beans were donated.
Explaining why Fortebet came up, the company executive manager, Bernard Rwakihembo said that, “We feel so sorry for everyone in Uganda and across the world. We are aware that COVID-19 has ravaged every component of life and therefore many people need a lot of financial and psycho-social support. This is the reason we have joined in helping feed Ugandans.”

Many organizations, companies, and individuals have listened to President Museveni’s call to help the needy. In addition, during this trying time of Coronavirus lockdown, many people froze their works thus staying in a worrying state. Therefore, Fortebet has joined the campaign to help the people of Uganda get through this trying moment.
