The league is set to start on December 3rd, after almost nine months of football suspension due to the coronavirus.
According to Bamweyana, Wakiso Giants have whatever it takes to compete favorably in the 2020/2021 season.
“We are happy with our preparations and excited to showcase what we have been cooking,” Bwamenyana was quoted by the club’s website.
“On a technical note, the further delay to kick-off was a blessing in disguise.”

“I might sound selfish but it feels as though the pandemic has affected us in sport the most, probably because it is a way of life for us,” he noted.
Wakiso Giants will begin the new season with a match against Abdallah Mubiru’s Police FC.
