Covid-19 Updates – The ministry of health has confirmed 121 cases of coronavirus on Saturday. This brings the number of the country’s cumulative confirmed cases to 10,455.
These results are of COVID-19 tests done on 16 October 2020 confirm 121 new cases.
All the 121 samples that tested positive for coronavirus were from contacts and alerts with Kampala having having the highest number cases recorded on Saturday, 58.
The other cases were from Luwero (23), Arua (7), Isingiro (6), Sembabule (5), Masindi (4), Amuru (3), Mbale (3), Wakiso (3), Bugweri (2), Buvuma (2), Jinja (2), Lira (2) and Terego (1).
Meanwhile, Uganda’s cumulative coronavirus recoveries are 6,901.

COVID-19 Update – Uganda Registers 100 New Cases on Sunday
The country has registered 96 fatalities since 23rd July 2020 when the country registered it’s first Covid-19 coronavirus.
The ministry of health has continued advising Ugandans to maintain the Covid-19 preventive measures of handwashing, social distancing, and the wearing of face masks.
