The National Unity Platform presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has blamed the Electoral Commission for it’s silence over the unfair implementation of coronavirus campaigning guidelines among his supporters and those of his revival, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s.
“In every town, our people are brutalised, teargassed and arrested for gathering to wave at us,” Robert Kyagulanyi said.
Bobi Wine also accessed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who has been in power of 30 years for hiring supporters.
“Museveni hires people, dresses them in yellow t-shirts and parades them on streets under police protection to show that he still has support,” Bobi Wine said.

“They are not harassed at all, and instead are given protection by the police and military. While all this is happening, the Electoral Commission is completely silent,” Bobi Wine added.
“The whole world can see the stinking double standards! While they harass us, they claim it is on account of # COVID19 , as if the virus only affects opposition supporters,” he added.
Robert Kyagulanyi is currently in Teso Sub region as he continued to transverse across the country for his presidential campaigns.
