Airtel Uganda has today launched a partnership with Game Stores. In addition, that will make payments for goods bought by Airtel Money subscribers much easier with Airtel Money Pay. The Airtel Money Pay service enables both parties to immediately confirm these proximity payments via text message (e-receipt) which is sent to both subscribers and sellers of the goods/service.
“This is an exciting partnership that is going to bring convenience to both our customers and Game Stores customers. This partnership between Airtel Uganda and Game Stores is very important because it comes at a time where for safety purposes, we’re encouraged and are indeed trying to reduce the rate at which we reduce physical cash,” Godfrey Muhindo said.

“Customers no longer have to carry cash or withdraw money, then pay when they are shopping here at Game. All customers need to do is dial *185*9# and then insert the Game Store Merchant Code. In addition to that, even the Game Store can initiate the transaction and all the customer has to do is insert their PIN number to complete the process, all in less than a minute,” Godfrey Muhindo added.
